PSA Germany: Saturday is a public holiday. All the shops will be shut. That includes supermarkets.
If you are visiting Germany this weekend, do your grocery shopping tomorrow! But be aware it’ll be utter chaos as everyone panic buys like in a pandemic cause the shops will shut for two days.
