Good Evening #FiresideFriends and guests, tonight we celebrate with The Tribes of the Pacific Northwest as they welcome the return of the salmon with stories, games, song, dance and feasting! You are invited to share in the splendor and fun of the community. 🎶 suno.com/s/pzNZ02jcog... 🎶 Be welcome!

The Canoes are sent to celebrate the return of the fish to the rivers. Thanks is given for the cycle of life continuing for The People, the Land and the Waters.
(Nets are cast as drums and song are shared.)

Drummers set the pace for the dancers, both ceremonial and those who get into the spirit and join in on the fun.

The Fishermen give honor and thanks as they drift out upon the waters.

Yummy. I use dill, lemon on the inside and bacon on the outside, then wrap and seal it in foil and put it on the BBQ with low heat.

Then add just a smidge of old bay and you got a tasty piece of salmon.

The Makah tribe roasts it over open flame on a cedar plank, after drizzling it with oil and sprinkling it with a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg and brushing it with honey. After I had it that way, I never went back to eating it any other, it was just right with that type of fish.
