Homelessness is extremely dangerous, especially in places with cold winters, and everybody knows that. Shelter is a major part of the hierarchy of the hierarchy of needs. And the term is "social murder" in which it is a policy choice to force people to live in lethal conditions without actual need.

Forcing indigenous into the margins of society, where their death rate is much higher, where they're subject to police abuse, where they're subject to the hatred of society, is a continuation of genocidal policy, just masked a little to fool people like you.

I am not as familiar with the Canadian situation. I am Australian and I am familiar with ours. Indigenous in Australia also have bad societal outcomes. High rates of sexual abuse, drug, alcohol, domestic violence, unemployment, truancy. Where does personal/group responsibility fit into this?
