Carmen Jiménez, a 57-year-old woman from Madrid, allegedly spent 28 years pretending to be blind after telling family and friends she had lost her sight due to an eye injury. Carmen later admitted she was never blind and used the disguise of blindness to avoid social interactions & small talk.
