abelantara.bsky.social @abelantara.bsky.social · 28/01/2026when I lived in Japan I was really struck by the fact that people there were taught to adapt how they address letters when sending mail outside of Japan (for example, putting the addressee’s name first when that’s not how it’s done in Japan) I was never taught to adapt to international standards 120
