Hey, since everyone's mad about the NYT amplifying a book grifter, this feels like a good time to remind the world I write books with no "AI" involved! Blind Chaos' first two books are available on Amazon/KU! 1: www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK7T53L1 2: www.amazon.com/dp/B0G6KM3WYN #booksky #lesfic #litRPG

An excerpt from one of my books that reads:

No Large Language Model ("LLM") or "AI" generated content appears within these pages. The words come from the author's imagination, the characters and locations and their respective names comes from the same (or Selkie Myth, in some cases). The editing was done through the author's obsession with quality, beta readers, and the occasional error report from readers. And, just as important, all art used was commissioned from talented artists and is used with permission.

The cover for Blind Chaos Book 1, Budding Rhythm.

The cover shows Ranthia, the main character, with a broad smile on her face in the process of turning. She is a fit brunette with short hair, wearing leather armor and wielding two knives. She is in a forest at night and two complete normal and not at all alarming dragoneye moons look down from overhead.

The cover for Blind Chaos Book 2, Dancing with Chaos.

The cover shows Ranthia, the main character, in the midst of a dance. Unlike before, she has long hair and is wearing cosmetics and a form-fitting costume with a wintery theme. She is on an well-crafted stage with other dancers in the background and spotlights shining on each of them. Glowing crystals hang overhead and a wintery background is painted on panels.

For those that didn't see the alt text on the main post, my covers are all commissioned from the amazing @nozomimats.bsky.social and @neilak20.bsky.social is the one who does my awesome marginalia! And as an early announcement: Book 3's preorders should be opening later this month!

The cover for Blind Chaos Book 3, The Grace of War.
Art by Nozomi Matsuoka @nozomimats.bsky.social
Lettering by miblart.

The cover shows Ranthia, the main character, wearing heavily damaged and patchwork armor. A tattered and worn blindfold covers her eyes and her hair is back to a short length. She's standing in a barren region, at the site of a battle with damaged equipment and arrows left on the ground, and seems wary. The sky is dyed vivid colors from the setting sun. There is an army's standard planted in the ground behind her, with a perfectly ordinary bird of no note perched on it.
