Interpret it anyway you like. IMO Smith neither implicated nor exonerated himself. The poster incident gives the Fox/CBS viewers to believe in. Both Smith and Klobuchar could have spoiled Schmitt's message, but didn't. Schmitt didn't spoil Klobuchar's either. Win/win/win for all parties.
