All the obsessions w/20th c figures/doctrines are tiresome to me if they’re concerned with direct mimicry (learning from is obviously desirable, fidelity to, is not). Folks last century invented new doctrines/institutions/tech/mores/common sense & governing capacity for their new age. So should we.
