I have gotten earbud volume warnings while the volume is on max and I legitimately could not hear the podcast i was listening to because cars on the road next to me were so loud.
@obcycler.bsky.socialBeyond the obvious concern trolling and ableist implication that people with hearing impairments shouldn't ride, people who don't spend a lot of time outside of cars don't realize how loud they are.
This highway shoulder is the only bike route to UCSD btw.
