Pelosi stepped in last second and snatched it from AOC giving it to a guy with terminal cancer who will probably never see the first committee meeting. The reason? Because a congressional co-chairmanship pays extra(by a long shot)so his family gets a larger check each month after he passes.

Democrats keep talking about how much representation matters. I guess they don’t think it matters to young people. 25% of the adult population is 18-32 years old. There is one Democrat in Congress in that age group. 66,000,000 plus 18-32 year olds have 1 representative in Congress. 1

I adored Kamela. She tried to build a big tent (smart), but was inept in some obvious ways. Not understanding the power of TikTok, is an obvious example. The Ds need to reinvent themselves bigtime to reach young males and blue collar folk who want nada to do w/overeducated elites.

2 things. 1. It was not a 'crushing defeat' .. it was a close contest. 2. They did not lose because of who they ran, what they said etc. They lost because they haven't owned any major US media since 1997. It's all owned by the far right and it's all slanted.
