How the Radical Right Captured the Culture

Blame Hollywood’s “unwokening” and the extraordinary rise of right-wing podcasters on slop: intellectually bereft, emotionally sterile content that’s shaped by data and optimized for clicks.

Podcast bros and social media influencers are NOT pop culture, but please continue with this gibberish. Hollywood has never had any spine and just goes where the money goes. You do have access to google and can quickly research McCarthyism, no? This is just lazy.

I'd throw an early adaptor award to th '94 film, "Forrest Gump", which captured the American imagination. It is a textbook tutorial of MAGA thinking. Blames the disruptions in the Vietnam Era on the Counter culture. The best part of the film is the Soundtrack; created by that same counter culture.
