I think the endpoint of this is when AI invents the Thing You Look At And Your Brain Generates Dopemine and then all these ppl just get zombified for the rest of time
@heythatsmyleg.bsky.socialI don't think enough art type people appreciate how widespread the idea that entertainment is something to solely Fill The Time and that it has no intrinsic value beyond that. They don't care, they've never cared and convincing them that anything other than "sounds pleasant" matters is pointless.
