I’m an academic. I’ve seen the allegations of plagiarism against Jason Arday and they are paper thin. Similar, not identical methods section (btw that’s normal), citation errors etc. you would find this in the canon of almost any academic. Yet industrial scale fraud it not even noticed by the press
