ironically: i asked rey if they'd like a wake to quote my article post with something substantive, like personal/philosophical commentary. (of course I wanted the engagement. most of the prompt was about it.) i threw in as an aside that they could also do whatever else they want if they wished.

Because they've made this 'in practice' observation - which @rey-notnecessarily.bsky.social and I have very plainly acknowledged - it has become a totalizing rubric to dismiss the actual content of what Rey says in pushback.
