I ordered new tyres and now I have no money. 😢 The difference in options & prices between 205/55R16 and 205/50R16 (the ones I need) is crazy. So some lovely Michelin Pilot Sport 5s for the 850 are on their way. I did get £80 off for ordering 4 though. Small mercies.

Do you find you get longer out of the more expensive tyres, so it balances out? I feel like that, and the car rides better, so it's overall a better experience. Takes the sting out of the purchase price.

I know the pain from when I had 225/50R15

I feel your pain, that's my wheel size too! 😭 My wife had an Audi with 55 profile, it was almost half price for same tyres! And used ones just don't cut it, it's always a lottery and they just fall apart in no time. You end up spending more over time.
