iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Okay guys, show me your digital workspace. I want to know what everyone has to stare at all day. Unless it's Excel. You'll get nothing but pity from me if you have to stare at Excel all day.

A screen cap of my digital workspace in the program Adobe Photoshop. I know, I know. We all hate Adobe but every time I try and new program I die a little inside. I'm old. Learning new things makes me twitchy.
Really when I think about it, paying for Adobe now year to year is probably my penance for the pirated copy I used for years. And see that? I'm still used the 2024 version in the cloud because I think I opened 2025 and thought "oh F, that button is somewhere else? NOPE" and then reopened this version.

The tabs and applications change all the time, but some constants are firefox, dolphin, kcalc, and konsole. Browsers, file managers, calculators, and terminals are never going away because they're very efficient ways to get work done.

Screenshot of a desktop running Linux. Firefox in foreground, active tab Discord with a conversation about building a new kind of website (monetizing news aggregation, basically.) Background applications visible are KCalc (calculator), KCharselect (character selector for non-native characters), dolphin (file manager), and konsole (terminal emulator, showing a wc command and a jstest /dev/input/js0 command).
