Dr Joanna Clare Dobson @joannacdobson.bsky.social · 11/05/2025The allotment is looking great this year, thanks to hours of work by @juliandobson.bsky.social. But it’s so, so thirsty. Anyone else finding their rhubarb and broad beans seem sluggish in the heat? #allotments #growyourown 170
Xander's Skyscape @wellmanneredxs.bsky.social · 12/05/2025Strangely, the rhubarb (only its second year) has managed to grow this year because the dry conditions have kept the slugs at bay! Infinitely different year to the soggy Great Slug Plague of 2024, but thank Gods for the shade in the garden, or there'd be no garden with this dought. 110
