Now and then I attempt to console myself by imagining a future where we look back on this whole era and laugh about how crazy it was. Like remember when the brain worm guy had a "Make America Healthy Again" Conference led by a creepy rapist and a literal snake oil salesman? That was hilarious!

And remember when that MAGA senator from Missouri thought he was going to get one over on Jack Smith and make him look corrupt and catch him lying, and it turned out the senator had all his facts wrong because he mixed up some sports teams? Yeah that was pretty funny, too. Someday ... maybe.

Senators who falsely accuse people should be able to get sued. No more of this immunity from suit. It is getting abused just to get clicks and soundbites. If you don't have the facts and defame someone, you should get sued.
