Not to defend it. I get that it's impolite. But it's inconvenient to haul yourself into a plane bathroom. Plus, raising a baby, you get used to changing your baby anywhere. Last week, there was no changing table in a cafe bathroom, so I had to put the changing mat right on the floor.
