That makes me wonder what the indicators are least able to see. For conservation tracking, the blind spots seem as important as the detections.

Many conservation projects work at a landscape scale, but we currently lack suitable biodiversity indicators to measure success at this scale. Scientists looked at the potential for seven biodiversity data sources - including drones, acoustics and eDNA - to contribute to indicators.
