Hello all and welcome to Mainichi Kimono (毎日きも)! I am a Kansai area based mixed Japanese American who received her professional certification in kimono as of June 2021. It is my honor to share kimono with the world as a professional teacher/stylist!

A photo of me wearing a blue summer kimono with floral patterns, standing while holding a large cluster of white flowers and a broad green leaf, partially covering my face. Her braided hair is adorned with a pink flower, and I'm gazing at the camera.

On this account, I aim to educate about kimono and give a glimpse into what it’s like to formally study kimono in Japan, and general kimono knowledge! I like to share what I’ve studied, and help people understand the vast world of kimono

Close-up view of a traditional kimono with a pink and white obi tied in an elaborate style. The kimono features a blue fabric with intricate patterns. The background shows a tatami mat. It's from kimono school practice.

Close-up of a mannequin wearing a rich red kimono with delicate floral patterns and an elaborate obi tied in a bow. The obi features gold, red, and blue floral designs, complementing the kimono. The room background contains storage shelves and tatami flooring at a kimono school I study at.
