Only weeks ago, international discussions around the region were framed in humanitarian terms:
Aid delivery
Civilian shipping
Evacuation contingencies, and
Regional stability.
The language now has noticeably shifted.

The emphasis from sources reported in media outlets now is increasingly on:
Sea lane protection
Deterrence
Freedom of navigation, and
Maritime security.
Those may sound similar publicly, but strategically they represent a very different posture.
