4/7 Why does this matter? Because a humanitarian corridor only works if the operating environment supports it: Airspace must be controllable Mine countermeasures must be viable Merchant shipping must have confidence (which he does mention in passing) Right now — none of those are guaranteed.

6/7 In that environment, a humanitarian corridor becomes very difficult to sustain in practice — and risky to promise politically. So it disappears from the language. What replaces it is: Stabilise diplomatically Prepare militarily Reopen later That’s a very different phase of thinking.
