People who say Hans Zimmer was never good are either delusional or have very different tastes than me. The dude did Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean! Some of the best parts of Lion King. He just doesn’t give a shit anymore.

Zimmer’s stuff has no identity now because of his fixation on using hired staff to do all of the unglamorous stuff after he writes a cool 2-minute demo
