I don't know to be honest so I can't agree or disagree on that, but for me it comes down to destruction of sentient life for personal pleasure - I wouldn't suggest a person who would die otherwise not cut down a tree or kill an animal for sustenance, but just to not do it unless absolutely necessary

it's a totally reasonable tack, more reasonable than mine, I'm certainly just a little gremlin, it's just weird to show up and start yelling people about their hot dogs on a weekend is really all I'm saying haha

I just find the framing of "some life is stupid enough for me to kill for pleasure", especially when I extend it to human life (not suggesting anything about yourself, but it's the logical end of my train of thought)
