1) 🇰🇷 There's another preprint by a single author (Junhyun Lee) analysing the DecodeME genetic dataset. It found substantial genetic correlations with Irritable bowel syndrome and depression, and a link with inhibitory neurons from the Descartes Human single-cell atlas.

2) There was a clear genetic correlation with depression (rg = 0.6), which we also found previously in our blog. But when the authors looked for strong signals in both ME/CFS and depression, they couldn't find one that was the same in both diseases.

3) This is similar to what the DecodeME preprint found: the top hits don't fully match. Lee therefore writes that "the data do not support reducing ME/CFS to depression at the level of genetic architecture."
