Income inequality is at an all-time high in Canada. Meanwhile, CEO pay keeps climbing. The top 1% richest families control almost a quarter of the country’s wealth. And the six biggest banks raked in $70 billion in profits last year alone. It’s time to tilt the scales back towards the 99%.

Create a new tax bracket for the top income earners. Treat capital gains the same as employment income. Tax wealth inheritance over $5 million."

It’s time to end unchecked corporate welfare. The current Liberal government is handing billions of dollars to profitable corporate giants in subsidies and tax breaks, with very few strings attached. Our plan ensures every public dollar serves the public interest – rather than corporate profits.

Over the last 30 years, corporate profits have doubled while corporate taxes have been slashed – all with the promise that benefits would eventually flow to working people. Today, people are still waiting as wealth piles up at the top and the cost of living only soars. We need real solutions.
