Carney was asked a simple question in Calgary: What about the genocide in Gaza? His answer? "I'm aware. That’s why we have an arms embargo." Later, he claimed he hadn’t heard the word "genocide". That’s not just troubling. It’s revealing. 🧵 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb_x...

Here’s the truth: Weapons approved before March 2024 are still flowing from Canada to Israel. Even as UN experts, Amnesty, and Human Rights Watch warn of genocide in the making. Words without action are just noise. And they feed cynicism and the far-right. www.instagram.com/p/DIP_3WHvbJV/

Graphic with bold black and red text reading: “Mark Carney’s Remarks Raise Serious Red Flags.”

Below, smaller text reads:
“At a recent campaign rally in Calgary, Marc Carney made deeply concerning statements that demand public scrutiny. Here are two critical issues Canadians cannot ignore:”

A black banner along the bottom says: “Lack of Clarity on Genocide.”

The accompanying Instagram caption from @cmpaconline outlines two key issues:

Carney’s refusal to directly address genocide in Gaza.

His misleading claim about Canada’s arms embargo on Israel, despite ongoing weapons transfers.

This friendly fire is why I'm fed up with the NDP. Do you really think it will be better for Gazans (or Canadians) for Poillievre to be Canada's PM? Why does the NDP only split the vote with these purity tests while not laying a finger on the PCs? Whose interests do they serve?
