Their whole announcement just felt duplicitous. Maybe some of the people involved hold to their stated motives, but Sim, I don’t think so. Fucker.

Trump’s plan for a “Mideast Riviera” see a traumatized people in the midst of a genocide as an opportunity to build resorts for the rich. Sim sees a vulnerable, traumatized community - many of whom survived a genocide right here in Canada - exactly the same way. Different locations, same logic.
