Squeezy John @johnspiers.co.uk · 06/03/2026You’re right that Mothering Sunday is traditional, and Father’s Day is a modern confection … but it was about attending a church service at the “mother” church or cathedral rather than your nearest parish church … it certainly didn’t have anything to do with your mum! 100
