For example, if it was a date for an in-person event and the readership is global, then being clear where the date is relevant to matters. 1st March in Los Angeles could well be 2nd March in Auckland. 100

Nemo @captnemo.in · 06/10/2026They're sometimes helpful when they aren't UTC. Very often we get conflicting dates on release/release-blog posts while tracking them for endoflife.date, and knowing which timezone the official announcement was in helps us decide on how to deal with it. 000
