Well, the people offering to "sponsor" my open source work with their shitty crypto coin didn't take too kindly to that!

I’m honestly not sure why you would ask me something like that, as the comparison seems quite absurd to me.

That said, I’m open to hearing your reasoning. Is your response related to your views on crypto, or is there something specific about our sponsorship proposal that led you to make that comparison?

I’d genuinely appreciate understanding where you’re coming from and how you see the sponsorship idea as being related to teaching children how to smoke.
