It has been the most accelerated, precipitous decline the last month. Just awful. Absolutely awful abdication of American duty, service and leadership. We are heading quickly toward a failed state and everyone who could take actual action is just wincing and watching it happen.

The Oval Office meeting was illuminating, however, in how strong and disciplined Zelenskyy is and how corrupt and awful Trump and Vance are. It was a setup meeting to embarrass Z publicly and show the MAGA base how strong Trump is. Ukraine is popular with a lot of folks though. As are gov programs.

Zelensky was pretty calm and collected, unlike those two blathering amateur idiots who were pissing their pants.

I’ll be curious how much “leg” the opening salvos from Trump have beyond the first 100 days. Once the foundation starts to settle in and suddenly things start to feel way different, what happens then? Do we acquiesce or does real change start to happen. I’m hopeful and pushing for the latter.
