Will is the one who “completes the set” when his dad instincts kick in and he claims Riven as his unofficial other kid.

Anyway, all that to say that Riven, then NB mc of EfHA, gains an adopted parent (several actually), and they subsequently complete a set for said parent, beknownst to Riven.
