Yes the stuff on X seems to divide up now between the Elon nonsense, the ads from dodgy companies and betting schemes and posts from made up names with flags in the bio and very few followers. It's mostly garbage but it is still a news story as an example of most extraordinary failure.

I’ve stayed on there because, well, I cover it. But without ever intending to, I’ve started only checking it once or twice a day, and barely posting, for no other reason than it feels pointless.
