After operating since 2009, Sheffield’s main WI is set to close because all the volunteers running it are leaving. Trans exclusion means spaces for all women are being lost. www.shwi.co.uk/post/2026-me...

Following the recent national Wi ruling on membership eligibility effective April 2026), we need to share some
difficult news about our group's future. Our current officers have decided not to renew their membership with the Wi, and at present, no one has
come forward to fill these essential committee roles. Without officers in place or a committee, Seven Hills
Wi will be suspended from April 2026. If you're interested in helping keep our group running or have questions about what's involved, please get in touch urgently. Wed love to hear from anyone willing
to step forward. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our Seven Hills community. Whatever happens next, the friendships and memories weve created together will always matter, those that are moving away from the Wi, don't wish to lose the social aspect of a group, so
will be looking at alternative options.
