Why my preference for airport transit is usually crosstown transit rather than asking airport workers to transfer twice or schlep all the way downtown and then back out.
Center airport workers — who are disproportionately minority — rather than airport travelers — who are disproportionately white.

The median rider of airport transit will almost always not be you but be an employee because you and 99 of your best friends taking the train to the airport twice per year is far fewer trips than one daily commuter.
