Happy New Year!!! And here are some images from the first major project of the year. Embroidering a traditional dress and then sew it all together, and the deadline for everything to be finished is April when the client will wear it 😃 #Bergensbunad #Bunad #embroidery #traditionaldress

The design consists of flowers, leaves and decorative swirls in the style of Norwegian rosemaling.
A bigger flower with red petals features at the bottom, above it is two stems stretching out to the sides with smaller flowers on them. And above that is the head of a blue cornflower, some leaves and another small flower at the very top that is still unfinished.
