A lil impromptu embroidery I did 😊 (not my design) #embroidery #handembroidery #bee #stainedglass #honeycoomb

A circular embroidery frame with black velvet covering. In the centre is a dark green fabric with embroidered honeycoomb pattern in three tones of yellow, framed in with two shades of brown. In the centre of the image is an embroidered bee in black and orange, and blue-grey wings. The embroidery is done with surface satin stitches and split stitch for the black outlines. The style of the image is stained glass inspired.
