I have to get on a plane later and will be vacillating between logic and grief all day.
Every year especially today I miss NY.

It happened during my first class of the day. By midday we just sat staring at the TV in our dorms I managed to get 3 phone calls thru. My mom, my friend Adam who I got out of the shower as he was getting ready to go to AF base, and my friend Devin, just to say I was okay.
