Gas prices weren't particularly high and overall prices absolutely weren't (just look at the graph).
People losing their jobs and saying "high prices" instead of "I'm unemployed" is the kind of thing I'm suggesting here, though, yeah. Which would line up with the loss of stimulus income for 2022.
