There is a weird amount of pro-China propaganda on Bsky (this is literally just AI) and the sad thing is how many lefties uncritically eat it up. Like an astonishing amount of people are buying in on “China based, actually” and it’s exhausting 🙃 Politics isn’t pick-the-correct-imperialist-oppressor

i would normally agree, but considering the current state of the US, and watching our government and infrastructure crumble constantly, it's hard not to look at china and go.. "ok, but why cant we do that here?" I mean they are currently leading in renewable energy. That isn't propaganda.

excellent i’m still kind of yknow a little concerned about the extreme mass censorship and surveillance police state that makes America’s look tame, and the ongoing Uighur genocide where’s the leftist discourse on that? Are we bought so easily by solar panels?
