The persistent erasure of adult media on storefronts is a driving factor for my own eroge/bishoujo archiving work. It was already difficult enough getting adult material through proxies, losing a huge repository like Suruga-ya will make it near impossible to get more goods in the future.
@krugman.netSuruga-ya has taken down all their adult goods. The word on the street is that their payment service provider prohibits said goods, and they're now trying to sidestep the problem by switching providers. Maybe ultimately splitting the site in two. Just speculation I'm reading on Japanese interwebs
