So, these are reasons why I think it's the same but they're only observations
Some may engage with the game meaningfully but on its face it's not that deep. And the fact that it's not that deep, is the entire issue
"Oh your song got used without consent / stolen / fed into slop, not that deep"

1) The first three years of absent moderation (much like genAI) sent a signal about what was permissible and there was no walking that back
2) What *was* permissible was a consentless internet where IP could be stolen
