Before Laurent’s birthday is up, I wanted to share my old comic of Laurent and Annette! #feawakening #fe3h

Panel 1: Annette fans herself with a hat.
Annette: whew! I don’t do too well in the heat. You really saved me!
Panel 2: handing the witch hat back over
Annette: I’m seriously lucky you were passing through
Panel 3: Annette listening as Laurent speaks from off-panel: that was no mere coincidence. I’ve actually been searching for a woman who matches your description for quite some time. In mage’s robes, with shoulder-length orange hair.
Panel 4: Laurent puts his hat back on
Laurent: though in my recollection, mother’s hair was darker, and she wore glasses and a hat just like mine
Panel 5: close up of Annette’s eyes widening

Annettentide continuation. #FE3H #feawakening

Panel 1: Annette with hands clasped
Annette: m-me too! I’m looking for my father too.
Laurent, offscreen: (oh! One of us)
Panel 2: Annette speaking over an image of Gilbert with his back turned: he’s a tall knight with hair the same color as mine
Laurent: (ah yes, in that respect most of us take after our fathers…)
Annette: he left when I was younger and I think he may be going by a different name.
Panel 3: Annette and Laurent silhouetted against some scribbly palm trees
Laurent: (a tall feroxi knight with orange…) Apologies. I don’t believe I can direct you to your father after all.
Annette: At this point, it’s expected. He’s probably just avoiding me.
Panels 4-5: Laurent in minimal white outline against black background, eyes obscured by his glasses, face fallen and then speaking with plastered-on optimism.
Annette: is your mother the same?
Laurent: an… not quite
Panel 6: Laurent standing with his hands on hips, smiling; Annette still resting on the ground.
Laurent: But I have utmost confidence I will locate mother here. I may even discover what transpired immediately after her disappearance. After all, it’s not as though they ever found a body!
