Ferdinand and Edelgard, 2020. I think I first published this on his birthday, haha. #FE3H

Panel 1: Ferdinand panting on the ground, kneeling and propped up by his lance
Panel 2: Hazy edelgard timeless viewed as if standing over viewer.
Ferdinand: I will defeat you, Edelgard. One day-
Panel 3: Ferdinand: I will become a better ruler than you!
Panel 4: Edelgard in stark black and white, furious, looking back over her shoulder
Panel 5: Edelgard obscured half in shadow with her axe over one shoulder, illuminated by the Crest of Flames, walking away from Ferdinand kneeling in the light. What little of her face is visible shows her losing her composure, with a bright tear streak on her cheek.
Edelgard: Mark well, Ferdinand. You are looking at the ultimate emperor to rule Fódlan. Your own father has made abundantly sure of that.
