I would bet that estimate is probably 4-10x low. There is no version of "Golden Dome" that bears even a passing resemblance to the EO that is not a huge amount of money for very little of value. The largest and most complicated megaproject ever. Easily overwhelmed by an attack.

Every serious space professional with even a little bit of experience knows this. Few will say it aloud, though, because $100B-$1T+ is a lot of money for everyone to take a bite of. And the DOD gets to hide specifics, shielding the program from direct public criticism.
