I think it's a combination. I have no problem with creating things for myself, cause I have to be satisfied with my work enough to post in the first place.
I do struggle with sharing my work though cause it can feel like I'll never be the right package. I would rather create and keep to myself than

My original stuff had gotten almost 0 attention some years ago but it was the goal of "never give up" more than expecting interactions and depend my motivation on that
