It will be held tomorrow, March 4, at 2:15 EDT—please come by if you're attending!
🌊 The summit is focusing on turning sustainable ocean commitments into concrete actions. The recent ratification of the High Seas Biodiversity Treaty (BBNJ) provides tools to create #MPAs on the high seas. MPAs safeguard ecosystems and habitats and play a crucial role in achieving global #biodiversity and climate goals. These include the target to protect 30% of the planet by 2030, commonly known as #30x30.
