Monthly visitors and office workers in downtown hit 3 million people for the first time since 2019. The number is higher than last summer, when foot traffic neared 2.8 million, and marks five consecutive years of growth.

🙏Look @ how this relates to recent, secretly planned & forced return to office mandate by Multco Chair & COO. After mass layoffs due to budget cuts, lack of space & supplies how will this be funded? Chair & COO refuse to disclose details. Metro Chamber involved in secret deals at taxpayer expense?

If I were a smart business owner, I would NEVER pay for office space since I'd know that most employees prefer working from home and not having to pay to commute. Same for gov't agencies & utilities. Why are we paying them to maintain office space when they don't really need it?
